Day 3 (18th Dec 2006)

We had to wake up at 6.30am and meet at the lobby at 7.30am for our breakfast at the ski resort. After the breakfast, those that intended to try out the ski headed to the hill to experience their ski trip while LKC and I decided not to take the ski trip as I had tried it before back in Australia and did not really enjoy it. After breakfast, LKC and I walked around the Hyundai Sungwoo Ski Resort and went back to our room and had a sleep, a really nice sleep and woke up at 11.30am to check out. After that we walked around the ski resort again to look for nice restaurant to have our lunch and had some snow fighting. We had a very expensive lunch which cost KRW 32000 (approximately RM130) but luckily it tasted good. After lunch, we walked around the resort again and tried to make a snowman but failed because the snow was too soft. At around 2.30pm, we left the ski resort and proceeded to Chuncheon Myeongdong for shopping. Chuncheon Myeongdong is a famous place because several scenes from the popular drama Winter Sonata were filmed. Bought some souvenirs like the famous handmade handphone strap and the stainless steel chopsticks. We had fried tteok (nian gao in Chinese) for our dinner. After dinner, we headed to a hotel in Chuncheon and called it a day.

Day 2 (17th Dec 2006)
Arrived at Incheon International Airport at 7am (Malaysia's time 6am). Was supposed to get on the Gull Ship at Wolmido Island to look around the island but due to the bad weather, the activity was canceled. Next we were brought to the Yangju MBC Daejanggeum Theme Park where the famous Daejanggeum drama was filmed. Next had mushroom steamboat for our lunch. We headed to Nami Island after our lunch. Nami Island is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads and also one of the shooting places for the popular love story drama "Winter Sonata". After that we had our dinner (something pork and squid meal) and headed to Hyundai Sungwoo Ski Resort and called it a day.
