Today is 30th November and it marks the end of the 11th month of the year and also the beginning of the last month of the year. What is so special with the month of December?
Basically there is nothing much special with the month of December, only holidays...holidays...holidays...nothing but holidays!! Lets count, only 16 days left before I fly to Korea after waited for 9 months...finally the days have arrived. No more cancellation of trip this time (I hope) as I just went to make the full payment of the trip.
Let me have a count....I'll have to work on the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th (maybe), 12th (Performance Appraisal Day), 13th, 14th, 15th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th. Aiyo still have to work for 17 days this month, I thought I will only have to work for around 10 days this month. There are so many holidays this month, on the 11th (sorry to the KL folks, only applicable for the Selangor state), from 18th to 22nd (Korea, here I come), 25th (Merry X'mas...hohoho) and 31st and 1st Jan 2007!!
Ahhh....I'm so happy now. No wonder December is one of my favourite month, but I also don't like December sometimes as I'll have to grow 1 year older once the clock ticks to 12 midnight on the 1st Jan. Sigh...

Take That - does this sound familiar to you? You might have heard this before if you're in the same generation as I am. Do you know Robbie Williams? Yes, he was one of the member in this popular boy-band back in the 90s. But he pulled himself out before the other members officially declared the splitting. Their famous hits are "How deep is your love", "Back for Good", "Never forget", "Promises", "Babes" and etc.

I'm so glad that one of my childhood favourite band is back in action. The long awaited new album "Beautiful World" will be out on the 27th Nov. The debut single called "Patience" can be reviewed at here.

Wonder which is the next band that will be reunion after missing for some time. Westlife and Backstreet Boys are still exist in the world! What's next? 911? Boyzone? NKOTB? Spice Girls?

Mich has been posted this site on her blog for quite some time but I had never take the initiative to visit this site until last week. I was too bored with the Chinese songs that have been played on my play list for thousand times. Needed something different. I'm more interested in listening to English songs at this moment, don't bother it's the latest hits or some oldies.

To my surprise, this site really have most of the songs that I was looking for and it is indeed very fast when loading the songs. You will never felt that you're listening it online. The feel is just the same as you're listening from the files that have been saved on your pc.

Really thanks to the creator of this site!! Two thumbs up!

P/s: If anyone is interested on the songs that are playing on my play list, I'm willing to share out this play list for all of you. Click here for my play list. Enjoy!

Sigh...things don't seem like working fine with me lately. What I wish had never happened. What I never wish will always happen. After the SC incident, I'm already quite fed up with how the things worked.
Since it's almost the end of the year now, it means something need to be done to review what you've done for the past 12 months. It's the PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL time again. There is some slight change on this year's performance appraisal. Last year, when I just joined the company, I had my performance appraisal session directly with my boss. There were nothing much to review that time as I just joined the company for 4 months only. Since now that I've been working in this company for 1 year and 4 months. There must be more things to review this time as I had been put in different projects. I really don't mind having a session with my boss, but before reviewing with my boss, I'll have to do this with the person I "love" the most - the @$$hol3 PM that I used to complain about.
When I received the news that we have to review it with the team leader first before reviewing with the boss, the first question that I asked was "Who is my team leader?". I was abit relieved when someone mentioned my senior's name. I told my colleagues that for sure I'll die if I've to do the session with the PM first as I had been fighting with him throughout the project. For sure he'll put some bad comments about me. I was praying that I will only have to do the review with my senior and not him.
Oh gosh, when I came home to check my mail just now, I received a mail from this PM regarding the performance session. Sigh...really spoilt my mood.

No updates from me lately? Well, nothing much special happened to me lately. Was just a bit busy on the last weekend as I had to travel to Port Klang since last Wednesday till last Monday to support one of the customer there. The project shouldn't be difficult, but I do not have the experience on doing any migration, I made mistakes along the way and always got problems here and there. I was lucky though, I always have someone to support and help me to walk through this path and someone to guide me along the way. Thanks to LKC for all the supports that he gave. Thanks to Tarmizee for all the advices and helps that he gave. Really appreciate that very much. I did not just gain experience on my work, I gained experience in communicating with different level of people. It was a very good exposure to me to work on this project but am I really suitable to work in Basis? Do I like Basis? This is a very big question that I keep on asking myself. I'm not very sure honestly. Reason why I have all these kind of questions suddenly pop-up is because Basis is a very stressful job. You're chasing against the time. If you're given 10 hours to finish the job, that's it. Basis can be a very relaxing job if there isn't any problems in the system. It will be the most stressful job when there is something goes wrong in the system. Who will be the first to blame when thing goes wrong? That is Basis. Who screwed the system? Basis.
What is on my mind now? To continue as a Basis or try other area like ABAP (programming) or Functional instead? Hmm...totally stay out of SAP? Lately I've been thinking alot on having my own business. What kind of business that I would like to own? A nursery cum kindergarten in Klang Valley, a futsal court in Ipoh, a kopitiam in some business centre or the best part is to be a full-time housewife. Which one is actually the closest to my realization? None!! Sigh...better go to sleep earlier and have a sweet dreams...hehehe...good night everyone!

Bloody broadband!

Does anyone notice that the Streamyx quality is getting worse lately? I do. I'm currently subsribe to the 512kbps speed but I feel like I'm using the dial-up like the olden days. I always having the problem of loading the page or it takes forever just to load a single page. Since Streamyx introduced the new RM77 package on the last festive season, I guess many people took this opportunity to subscribe or to upgrade their existing broadband service. When more and more people are using broadband and Streamyx never take the initiative to upgrade their services. Who will suffer in the end? The end-users like us. Though we're paying the same amount that we were paying one to two years ago, the quality of the service is getting worse and worse. I used to have the speed up to 57kbps for downloading few months back, but what I'm having now is less than half of it, only 14kbps. Sigh....this is what I don't like in Malaysia. Let me recall back what I learnt in my Economics. When demand increases --> Supply increases. Am I correct? But in Malaysia, when demand increases --> Supply remains unchange. They're earning more and more money as more and more subcribers subcribed to their service. They never thought of improving themselves so that the users will be very happy using their services. They only think of MONEY, MONEY and MONEY!!
