Baking mood

I feel like baking. Feel like making cupcakes. I've not done it before but just feel happy seeing all the wonderful cupcakes posted on cuppacakes® by +wondermilk® . I should start learning it...to earn extra income!!?? Nope...it's the process of making it that I enjoy the most I guess. Looking at the end result will either make me feel disappointed/ satisfied.

I tried making the "sound-easy-to-make" Chocolate Corn Flakes few weeks ago. I thought melting the cooking chocolate was an easy task...I was wrong. I'm not going to explain how to melt the cook as you can find the tips from the Google. I only got the correct method after my 3rd attempt. Anyway, it was really a nice try and I did enjoy myself.Anyone wanna buy me this book as Christmas gift? I promise to bake the cupcakes for you if you buy me the book. LKC can't be my Santa for this gift coz he doesn't like cupcakes :(
I promise to bake you the cupcakes on your birthday, wedding, anniversary, baby's full month, baby's birthday and etc.

p/s: I'm broke this month, just bought a photography book that costs RM120 from Kinokuniya yesterday and I'm eyeing on a Lonely Planet book, which also costs RM120. I need someone to sponsor me.

p/p/s: I think now it's the most suitable time for you to buy the books now. Coz it's close to the end of 2008 Income Tax year. Purchase of books will allow you to have tax deductions up to RM700...kekek suddenly so tax savvy. Thanks to the Finance Manager who just sent out the email yesterday. So buy me the book to maximise your tax deductions. Thank you!!

It's near yet it's still far

It's Friday...yeay! The weekend is here...but...I don't get the chance to enjoy my weekend this week due to work. Sigh. It's gonna be a stressful week. The task will be running around the clock from Friday night till Sunday evening. Of course it's not done by me alone, still I'm playing one of the major role for this project. Hopefully everything goes on smoothly and the system will be able to go-live on Monday. It has been dragging for too long and I wish to complete it before the new year. Lets pray!

Dear Santa

Yes...on the way

Yes, I know I've not been blogging for more than 2 weeks. Not that I'm busy with works or anything. Just that there are more attractive activities to be done than blogging.

Blame the Moonlight Resonance (家好月圆)
I'm on medication, the Moonlight Resonance medication. I need at least a dosage a day (an episod, just in case you don't know, it's a HK TVB drama). I get really frustrated if I don't see the latest episod uploaded to the torrent site. Seriously, if you think the Heart of Greed (溏心風暴) was nice, wait till you watch Moonlight Resonance. You'll be highly addicted like me.

Blame the Facebook

Parking Wars, Bowling Buddies, Pet Society, Who has the biggest brain? and the latest MouseHunt have been keeping me busy all the time. Even my LKC, who is a total dumber in all these things, joined Facebook to challenge me in the Bowling Buddies.

Blame my Sony PSP + Philips MP3 player
Oh yes...I think I've not written any review on my PSP which I bought errr...few months back. And also the Philips MP3 player that I bought 2 weeks ago. Another topic to add in to my list of pending blog entries.

Blame my laziness
This is the mother of all the above blames...muahaha. Actually I have few entries drafted half way, but just too lazy to continue and started with a new entry instead.

Just to mark the auspicious date 08.08.08. Heard that many people are registering their marriage today because of the auspicious number 080808. LKC's boss, the one who went Bali with us is registering today too. Happy Newly Wed, Mr. Sky! And also, it's the opening of the Beijing Olympics tonight. Errr...Happy Olympics (wtf??!!).

The Dark Knight

So, like the rest of the world, we finally watched The Dark Knight on last Wednesday evening...but we only managed to catch the first 30 minutes of the movie due to some family issue, refer to the previous post here. I think horr...The Dark Knight is cursed lor. Why I said so?
Lets talk about Heath Ledger aka The Joker, one of the lead actor in the movie. His role as a joker was very outstanding and the performance was just superb...I only watched the first 30 minutes, could really tell that he is a very good actor. But too bad, the broke back mountain actor died shortly after the movie.
Next, Edison Chen. Though he only appeared in the film for only 5 seconds or less, the curse is so strong. He was involved in the scandal and tarnished his reputation in the Hong Kong entertainment industry.
Few months later, the Batman, Christian Bale was arrested in connection with an alleged verbal assault on his mother, Jenny and sister, Sharon. Though the curse is not so strong on this Batman, but wtf?
Shortly after that, Morgan Freeman got involved in an accident.
Wow wow wow...you see you see. The curse was so strong but it was not just involving the actors in the film. Even the people watching the movie will kena the curse also. You see, I got the bad news shortly after the movie started. Luckily I only watched the first 30 minutes, it was a short period compared to the actors making the movie. The issue got resolved in the next day evening. What if I finish the whole movie, which is 2 hours 32 minutes? I think my family issue might take longer to get resolved then. Not only that, LKC's friend also said so. After watching The Dark Knight, his soccer betting all lost also.

Excuse me!

Excuse me with all the food posts posted lately. Some were actually quite out-dated posts but I was just lazy to blog about it. Besides that, I have nothing much to update. Life seems to be quite boring lately. Working life is as usual, neither too busy nor too free. Apart from blogging on food, there is nothing much I can blog about.
Well, some of you might have known it, LKC and I are busy looking for properties. Planning to get our very first home-sweet-home end of this year. A lot of researches need to be done like checking on the area, the developer, the price, the design and etc. It is not something easy as I thought. We've thought of staying back in PJ area but due our budget constraint, we will have limited choices to choose from. With the budget that we have, we can only eye on areas like Puchong, Gombak, Klang and etc, which are not in our list.
So it is now money vs location. How I wish we're super rich, at least we'll have one less thing to consider. I need to go to buy lottery now. What's the prize for the Sports Toto Jackpot now?
