Assembled at KLIA at 7pm and departed to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah before flying to Korea.

Our breakfast on the plane (Cheese omelet with hash brown and sausage)

Day 2 (17th Dec 2006)
Arrived at Incheon International Airport at 7am (Malaysia's time 6am). Was supposed to get on the Gull Ship at Wolmido Island to look around the island but due to the bad weather, the activity was canceled. Next we were brought to the Yangju MBC Daejanggeum Theme Park where the famous Daejanggeum drama was filmed. Next had mushroom steamboat for our lunch. We headed to Nami Island after our lunch. Nami Island is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads and also one of the shooting places for the popular love story drama "Winter Sonata". After that we had our dinner (something pork and squid meal) and headed to Hyundai Sungwoo Ski Resort and called it a day.

Korea trip 2006

I'm just back from Korea (17th Dec - 21st Dec 2006) and still unpacking my things. So damn lazy to unpack the things...didn't realize I bought so many things from Korea...will upload the photos when I'm free. How was my Korea trip? One word to describe the whole trip -- M-A-R-V-E-L-O-U-S!! Another word to describe it -- S-U-P-E-R-B!! Hahaha...when I was in Korea, I missed Malaysian food. But when I'm back to Malaysia, I miss Korea so much. I miss the environment, I miss the snow, I miss the weather, I miss everything. What I miss the most must be the SNOW. I love snow. We were very lucky as it was just after snowing the moment we stepped on the land of Korea. Managed to play the snow and also caught a glimpse of snowing. It was freaking cold but will never forget this moment.

Will upload the photos when I'm not so lazy. All the photos are so "winter-sonata" and "daejanggum" feel. My sister was asking, if I were given a chance, will I go back to Korea again? Answer is...definitely yes! It is a place worth visiting, but not worth in spending money. Their living expenses are way too high than us. LKC and I went in to a Levis store to check out the price, guess how much does a pair of Levis cost in Korea? It costs around RM 400-500. So damn expensive, I guess we'll be able to get 2 pairs of the same jeans back in Malaysia here with the same amount paid.

We spent less than RM1500 for this whole trip. What we had spend on? Food...a meal at the Hyundai Ski Resort cost us around RM130. The Big5 tickets in Everland cost RM100 per person. The balance of the money are spent on junk food, souvenirs and some beauty products. Guess what I bought the most? Facial masks. It's so damn cheap over there. Some only cost few cents a pack. Remember those that are selling in Sasa...they are selling around RM6-7 per sheet in Sasa, but it only costs less than RM2 in Korea. I've just calculated...I bought 18 sheets of the facial masks and 22 packs of the wash-off and peel-off kind of masks. A lot huh? Enough for my one year supply...hehehe. What else I bought? Some Korean food, eg...seaweed, biscuits and the famous Korean ginseng candies.

Ok, I don't know what am I writing now. It's so disorganized. A little bit of this and a little bit of there. LKC is sleeping very soundly right now and I still haven't taken my shower yet. Better sign off here before I fall asleep. Will right a proper post about my Korea trip when I'm free. Good night everyone and have a happy holiday!!

Question!!

Is a person's personality/ attitude so difficult to change?

Clueless

Sleepless night...that's what I'm having almost every night. I'm currently attached to a never ending project. I thought I could finish this project on last Tuesday. Only God knows why I'm still stucked in this project. Whatever things that can be done had already been done. Whatever things that must be done had be done as well. Though the system has been gone live and there isn't much complains from the users (which shows a good sign), there is still something left has not been done. It's like a piece of missing puzzles. The job will never be completed until I found the missing piece of puzzle.

I really wish to solve this problem before my trip to Korea this Saturday. But I'm really stucked. Can someone guide me on what I'm supposed to do now? Waiting...that's all I can do. Waiting for the SAP to reply, waiting for SAP to come out with some solutions, waiting for someone to guide me, waiting for someone to give me some hints, waiting for the right time...

Deck The Halls

Deck the halls with boughs of holly
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
'Tis the season to be jolly
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
Don we now our gay apparel
Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la.
Troll the ancient Yule-tide carol
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la.

See the blazing Yule before us.
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
Strike the harp and join the chorus.
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
Follow me in merry measure.
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
While I tell of Yule-tide treasure.
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la

Fast away the old year passes.
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
Hail the new year, lads and lasses
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
Sing we joyous, all together.
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
heedless of the wind and weather.
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la

Today is 30th November and it marks the end of the 11th month of the year and also the beginning of the last month of the year. What is so special with the month of December?
Basically there is nothing much special with the month of December, only holidays...holidays...holidays...nothing but holidays!! Lets count, only 16 days left before I fly to Korea after waited for 9 months...finally the days have arrived. No more cancellation of trip this time (I hope) as I just went to make the full payment of the trip.
Let me have a count....I'll have to work on the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th (maybe), 12th (Performance Appraisal Day), 13th, 14th, 15th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th. Aiyo still have to work for 17 days this month, I thought I will only have to work for around 10 days this month. There are so many holidays this month, on the 11th (sorry to the KL folks, only applicable for the Selangor state), from 18th to 22nd (Korea, here I come), 25th (Merry X'mas...hohoho) and 31st and 1st Jan 2007!!
Ahhh....I'm so happy now. No wonder December is one of my favourite month, but I also don't like December sometimes as I'll have to grow 1 year older once the clock ticks to 12 midnight on the 1st Jan. Sigh...
