Sweet...

Yeah...here I am, blogging at 6.40am. Had insomnia last night, was falling asleep at around 2am and then got woke up by the nature call at around 4am. Spoke to LKC for more than an hour before he went to sleep. I can't believe that I'm very very very wide awake now. Was randomly browsing some blogs and found out this blog was actually quite interesting to read. Was reading the old entries and found out this entry. Oh man, how I wish I can be as lucky as her? Hopefully LKC can do some special tricks when it comes to this kind of occasion.

LKC...don't lah just pop-out the question "when do you want to marry me?". Do something special, can? The time will come when it is the right time to come.

5 reasons

Remember my previous post, 5 reasons why I CAN'T wait for LKC to be home? (Forgot? Refer to here!). Here is the Part II for the previous entry.

5 reasons why I CAN wait for LKC to be home...

  1. Not a good experience to go shopping/ dinner alone? I can always find friends to go shopping and have dinner with me. Since I just got to know that Sabrina will not go out dating with her deardear everyday, and she'll ta-pau or cook maggi mee at home, I can always look for her and other gal friends.
  2. No one to pay for my groceries? No big deal, I can choose not to eat for dinner. Just drink Milo with cornflakes (yes, I know it's for breakfast, but who cares?). Can ask mama to buy Milo and cornflakes for me. Can even ask mama to buy other food as well.
  3. No one to talk to while driving? Can call mama and also talk to cid-cey-ceow (though most of the time she'll be repeating the same words again and again, or just keeping quiet). Worse comes to worse, turn on the radio loudly and sing along!
  4. No "drebar" to drive back to Ipoh? No problem...can follow Ah Girl's car (my cousin) to go back to Ipoh. Even better, can save money. No need to pay for petrol and toll. And can go back to Ipoh to play with cid-cey-ceow every fortnight. Kill "many" birds with one stone.
  5. My Coach handbag? Since you have given me so many T&C even before I go in to the Coach store, feel "sien" already ler. No mood to buy liao. Told me cannot be more than RM1500 lah, cursed me "cannot buy in Malaysia" lah, asked me to stand outside and peep then run to check out whether got stock or not lah, don't allow me to mention about LV and Gucci lah, asked me to go to Petaling Street to buy Ah Cheong brand lah...aiii, where still got mood to wait for you to be home ler. You stay in France forever ler...don't come back better. Upset with you liao...sien lerr
Do you all agree with me? Why want to wait for him to be home ler? Treat me no good...no good.

Which is nicer?

It's the forth week now, less than 3 weeks till LKC returns to Malaysia. Can't hardly wait for his return. 5 reasons why I can't wait...

  1. It's not a good experience to go to shopping mall alone and had dinner alone. Experienced it today, not hoping to experience it again in the near future
  2. No one to pay for my groceries. I'm so broke now.
  3. No one to talk to me on the phone while I'm driving to/back from work.
  4. No "drebar" to drive me back to Ipoh. The journey back to Ipoh was like forever.
  5. Last but not least, my Coach handbag. Since LKC said that he can't afford to buy me a LV handbag, though it's cheaper to buy in France than in Malaysia, yet...he still can't afford to buy it. He promised me to buy a Coach handbag for me instead.
Honestly speaking, I've no idea how much does a Coach handbag cost, neither LV nor Gucci. Since LKC feels that Coach should be cheaper than LV and Gucci, he promised me to get me one when he's back. Being an obedient girlfriend, as always, I'll do my part to keep his promise by choosing the handbag that he has promised, right? Hehehe...

Currently in my mind are...
BLEECKER SIGNATURE DUFFLE
BLEECKER SIGNATURE SMALL ZIP HOBO
COACH ERGO SIGNATURE HOBO

I personally prefer white colour more than any other colours. But sometimes white "ng kam lar char" (gets dirty easily), so I'm keeping my eyes on black as well. Right now, the colour is not that important yet. Tell me which design is nicer? I prefer simple yet stylish handbags rather than those with too much details or too many things hanging here and there. Please help me decide...

The returns...

Wow...what is going on? All the 90s boy/ girl bands are making their return now after missing for a decade. Remember Spice Girls? Westlife? Backstreet Boys? Take That? All are making their returns to this music industry . They have finished spending their money? That's why returning to the music industry to make money again? Not too bad horr...money that they earned could last them for 10 years.

All the groups did not change much...but don't think they deserve to be called as boy/ girl bands now. Should call them man/ woman bands now. Westlife and Backstreet Boys left only 4 members. Haven't listen to any of the albums below, so can't tell how much they have changed.
Take That - Beautiful World (released mid of 2007)

Westlife - Back Home (released Nov 2007)

Spice Girls - Now Return (released Nov 2007)

Backstreet Boys - Unbreakable (released Oct 2007)

So, who will be the next to make a return? 911? Atomic Kittens? Blue? S Club 7? After looking at all these bands, it reminds me of my old school days, where we used to admire these boy bands so much. Bought lots of magazines (Smash Hits, Big, Galaxy) which were quite costly even today (if I'm not mistaken, I paid RM6-7 per magazines).

I used to like 911 so much. Went to their concert back in the year 1998 at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. Bought all their albums and singles which were released in Malaysia. Bought all the magazines which had them in the cover or even covered just a little bit of news on them. Wonder how much I had spent on all these CDs and magazines.

Another group that I used to like so much was Take That. Well, didn't spend much money on this group as when I got to know them, it was almost the time when they split. Still liking their songs very much especially Never Forget, Back for Good, Babe and etc. I even watched their Home Coming Concert twice recently. First time was on the flight to Taiwan and another time was on Channel V.

Anyway, lets see which boy/ girl will make their return next.

The killing stops when the eating stops

Was reading someone's post on the "glamorous" meal that she had few days ago. Saw the photos that she took for her favourite shark fin. That reminds me of the conversation that I had with my colleague few days back during the lunch time. We were talking about something, and somehow the shark fin just came into our conversation.

I like the phrase that Jacky (my colleague) mentioned. He said, "The killing stops when the eating stops". This again reminds me of one forwarded email that I received long long time ago about the cruelty of "finning" of sharks for shark fin soup. The images show the inhumane way that people cut the fin, and how they drop the shark who is still alive back to the water to bleed to death and sink to the bottom of the ocean. Have you ever thought how many sharks were killed to serve the 50 tables in a wedding banquet? Hell a lot!!

Was googling for the shark fin images but I just can't help to feel so sorry for the way they cut the fins. It is just too cruel. Wanted to upload those photos to this post but I think I will definitely feel uneasy everytime I visit my own blog.

A lot of efforts have been made to save the sharks but consumptions reduced by not much. I guess the only way that we can really save the sharks is to stop eating the shark fins. When the demand for shark fin drops, the supply drops as well (applying my economic knowledge that I learnt during my college days).

P/S: This is just my personal post. Not trying to offend anyone at anytime.

911 - The Journey

"The journey"

Time waits for no one, sure as the tide pulls the ocean
Sure as, the path that's been chosen, cannot be changed
In my life's destination, I searched for the explaination
For some kind of reason, for my sorrow and pain
But in my isolation I learned to listen
To be thankful for the love that I'd been given

[Chorus]
This is my journey, journey through life
With every twist and turn I've laughed and cried
As the road unwinds
This is my journey, and I've learned to fight
To make me strong enough, to lift me up, to bring my dreams alive

In my desperation I swore that never again
Would I hear all the laughter of my friends and my family
A million tears that I'd cried then began to dry
In the silence of the night time
I had came to realize
A sweet inspiration filled my horizon
Gave me the heart to go on and never would give in

[Chorus]
This is my journey, journey through life
With every twist and turn I've laughed and cried
As the road unwinds
This is my journey, and I've learned to fight
To make me strong enough, to lift me up, to bring my dreams alive

I'm going to love each moment, of every day and night
I'll look back to the past with the sweetest smile
For now I realise, I've been given the key to life
I've been kissed by the angel by my side

[Chorus]
This is my journey, journey through life
With every twist and turn I've laughed and cried
As the road unwinds
This is my journey, and I've learned to fight
To make me strong enough, to lift me up, to bring my dreams alive
To bring my dreams alive
To bring my dreams alive

Ole-Ole Bali, Sunway Pyramid

On my first day reporting to work at the new office, LKC dropped me at the Kelana Jaya LRT station to take LRT to KLCC. It wasn't a great experience to take LRT to work in the morning of a working day, especially after 5 years never took LRT. I was really surprised to see Malaysians actually queued up to board the train. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Being a blur sotong, I just followed the queue, but wondering is there a limit of how many people can go in to the train at one time. I just looked around and followed the queue next to me hoping that I never "break" the "rules". I almost suffocated myself in the train but my colleague said that I was still lucky because it was in the morning. I asked..."Har...evening got more people??!! "No...because all the body odour will be out by then", he said.

After work, LKC picked me up again from the LRT station (so enjoyable, got "drebar" driving around, hehehe). We went to Sunway Pyramid. It has been quite some time since the last time I visited Sunway Pyramid. Been hearing the Pyramid 2 since its opening. Walked around the mall to find something special to eat for our dinner. Most of the restaurants that you can find in 1-Utama can be found in Pyramid 2. We went to Ole-Ole Bali Restaurant since we had never tried Balinese meal before.
Was googling for this restaurant, but couldn't find its official site, guess they don't have one yet. Managed to find some blogs featuring this restaurant. Got to find out that the owner of this Ole-Ole Bali restaurant is the same owner of the Bumbu Bali Restaurant in Puchong.

It is a very good environment for dinner and also to hang out with friends. The walls are decorated with some paintings of Buddha. Very Balinese environment with soft music playing at the background. We ordered Nasi Campur, BBQ chicken wings, garlic bread and a jug of barley lime.
Barley Lime

A jug of barley lime only costs RM15, can be refillable up to 4 glasses. It's a nice drink to quench your thirst after eating the all the hot and spicy food.

Nasi campur

For main course, we ordered Nasi Campur. The rice is like our nasi lemak (coconut milk rice) was served with grilled fish, sambal sotong, rendang beef, some don't know what vegie, lemon grass wrapped with some meat (something like otak-otak), bbq prawns, keropok and some chillies sauce and fried-onion oil. The platter costs RM30, which is quite worth for the money. Enough to be shared for 2 persons if you are planning to order some other side dishes.

BBQ Chicken Wings

Besides the main course, we ordered bbq chicken wings as our side dish. The bbq chicken wings were served with fried potatoes and the same chillies sauce. Not sure how much it was cost, should be less than RM20. It's a different kind of taste than the bbq chicken wings that we normally can find in the western food menu.

Garlic Bread

LKC is a garlic bread lover. Whenever he sees garlic bread on the menu, he will definitely order garlic bread without a miss. By the way, what is garlic bread to do with Balinese meal? Hmmm...??

Overall, the food was very nice and the price was quite reasonable for the quality of food and the environment. Two thumbs up!! Worth returning if you enjoy Balinese meal and would like to try other food on the menu.

Missing you...

Arghh...I'm a lazy pig. I'm so lazy to update my blog. LKC has been complaining on my lack of blogging. I'm so lazy to blog about my Taiwan trip during the weekend. Weekend was not as boring as I was expecting. Went to Shah Alam to collect my parcel in Pos Laju and then went to Klang to look for Cheng Ghee for lunch. After that headed to Tesco to get my groceries for this week. I'm so broke. Normally LKC was the one who paid for all the groceries and my duty is to cook/ eat/ finish up the groceries, but not for this time. Sigh...LKC quickly come back!!
On Sunday, went to 1-Utama with sis for shopping. Wanted to buy the pair of heels that I saw at Vincci, Klang. Found both the Vincci outlets in both the old wing and new wing, but didn't manage to find it. Sis managed to buy 2 pairs of heels, which I feel that it's so expensive.
LKC, honestly, there is nothing much for me to blog on. Whatever things that happened to me on that day, I have already told you in our chats. Nothing to blog on lah.
Meanwhile, check out here, here, here, here and here for the photos of my Taiwan trip. Enjoy!

Holiday = Boring Day

Arrghhh....was trying to blog about my Taiwan trip, which has been pending for almost 2 weeks. I was trying to copy the link of my the photos that I had uploaded to Picasa but failed to do so. Only managed to paste the first few letters of the link....tu lan!! Will try to continue my post on this weekend since I'll be very free and will not be going back to Ipoh until next weekend.
It's Deepavali today. Happy Deepavali to whoever celebrating it. Holiday is the day I always looking forward to but not on today. It seems to be a super-duper boring day to me. I didn't go anywhere and didn't do anything. Slept at around 12 something last night. Wanted to wait for LKC to online so that I could talk with him but was too tired after attending 2 classes (Latin Mix and Hip Hop) yesterday. Woke up at around 10 this morning and lazing on the bed doing nothing except netsurfing.
At around 12, sent sms to LKC to wake him up (it was only 5am in France) and talked to him until 1 something when he needed to get ready for work. Got up and cooked instant noodle for lunch. Was lazing on the sofa watching tv and after that time to pamper myself. Washed my face, scrubbed it and put on a mask. Played some online game while waiting for it to dry up and fell asleep half way. Slept for almost an hour and quickly got up to wash off the mask. After that continued with my online game and watched some videos in youtube.
Time for dinner. Cooked fried noodle with hotdogs and crabstick. After that, watched tv again and tried on the new dress that I bought on last Sunday at The Curve street market and also the accessories that I bought in Taiwan to match with the dress. The dress was only RM50 and the bead necklace was only RM5, which was a very cheap deal. After trying on the dress, sitting in front of the lappie trying to blog about what Taiwan trip but failed to do so and start writting this blog.
It's not even a week, 5 more weeks to go before LKC comes back. Sigh...boring boring boring. LKC will be going to Paris tomorrow and will only be back on Sunday. What am I going to do this weekend?

Single again...

Just sent LKC to KLIA to board his flight to France. He will be arriving in Paris at 2pm (local time). It's gonna be a long journey...13 hours of flight. Luckily he's not flying alone this time. Though he doesn't like that guy that much, well at least, there is someone there to talk with.
Wonder what am I going to do in the next 6 weeks. It's time for me to get back to my work out now. It has been one month since the last time I went to Celebrity. It's time to keep fit, Leow Lisan!! You're getting fatter and fatter.
LKC, if you happen to read this, remember I don't want any handbags. It's too expensive. Remember you promised me one thing? You promised to buy me a teddy bear every time you visit a country. Just washed the soft toys on the bed. The American bear is slightly cleaner now, but the buttock is still quite dark. The two Korean Everland toys are very clean now. The Boston lobster as usual, cannot see whether it's clean or not. Dirty Cat looks cleaner also, not so dark already. I'm expecting a teddy bear from Harrods (not sure you can get it in France or not). Not very expensive only, it costs £14.95 for the bear below. Very cheap only!! Hehehe...

Remember this logo!!

And also this!!

Wahhh...what a surprise!! LKC was supposed to be in the flight while I am writing this. My phone just rang and it is the ringtone that I set for LKC. It's impossible LKC dares to turn on his phone in the flight...I was thinking. It was really LKC and when I picked up the call, he told me that his flight got delayed for 1 hour, though he is already in the plane. He said the flight has missed something, so need to wait for another hour for its turn. Huh...got such thing one meh??!! I was hoping that they cancel the flight instead of delaying it. Anyway, the flight has already departed now. Safe journey and take care! See you in 6 weeks later. Miss ya! Love ya! Muaksss.

P/s: Will start blogging on my Taiwan trip tomorrow. Sorry for the delays!!
