Outback Steakhouse

Went to the Outback Steakhouse @ Bangsar Village on Thursday night after picking up LKC from KL Sentral. I always wanted to try this restaurant as LKC had tried it before when he was in the USA 2 years ago (somemore Celebrity Fitness member got to enjoy 10% discount, but HSBC and Citibank credit card holder got 20% discount). Hmm..I'm a Celebrity Fitness member, HSBC and Citibank credit card holder also...does that mean I can enjoy 10% + 20% + 20% = 50% discount?? Yeah right...dream on.

Anyway, back to the restaurant. It has not much difference between the TGI Friday's, Chili's Grill & Bar and also Tony Roma's except that it has a strong Australia outback theme. Menu items are largely named after places in Australia, including the Ayers Rock Strip, Alice Springs Chicken, and Rockhampton Ribeye.

LKC ordered the Outback Sirlion which costs RM42.50. It was served with mashed potato, steamed veggies and a corn. There is a sauce served together that just suit the steak perfectly. It is tasted something like black pepper and garlic sauce, I think.

Sigh...menu always looks more interesting that we'll get

As for myself, I ordered BBQ Chicken Quarter that costs RM 21.95. As the name suggested the chicken is tasted none other than the BBQ sauce. As for the side dishes, they served with coleslaw, mashed potato and the corn as well.

Another upsetting picture to see

The overall quality of the food is just superb. Two thumbs up!! We were a bit unlucky as there were 3 uncles and a China lady there who was drunk. They were shouting very loudly throughout our dinner and talking about prostitution all the time...no...no...no, we were not trying to eavesdropping their conversation. They were just screaming and we could hear it clearly.
